Review Process

Editor in Chief will assign the manuscript to a corresponding section editor for further handling. The section editor will request at least two scientists to review the manuscript. All manuscripts are checked by qualified peer review and the authors are subject to blind peer review whose identities will remain anonymous. All reviewing processes are in double-blind peer review and managed by editor in the OJS.

Reviewer carries out a review process based on scientific reasons to examine the substance of the manuscript, identify novelty, evaluate methods and how research or research data is obtained. The reviewer provides results of the review of the manuscript using the evaluation form and sends it back to the editor. The editor then checks the results of the review by the reviewer.  Based on the comments from the reviewer, Section Editor, and Editor in Chief will make the decision on the manuscript.

Manuscripts declared eligible to be sent to a team of technical editors for editing and publishing. A manuscript that requires revision is returned to the author, to complete the manuscript. The manuscript is considered not qualified returned to the author. Each stage of the review process informed the author (figure below).

In certain cases, the manuscript can be reevaluated by the editor to obtain clarity of the text to meet ethical standards. The editor can also contact the author to clarify various matters to ensure that research activities have been worked well, and publication decisions are free of interests. Furthermore, the editor has a decision to withdraw the published manuscript because the manuscript is considered conclusively not meeting publication standard.
