Emisi gas buang pada kendaraan mengakibatkan iritasi saluran pernapasan dan kanker. Berbagai cara telah didicoba untuk mengurangi emisi gas buang.salah satu cara mengurangi emisi CO, HC, NOx adalah dengan mengkonversi bahan bakar minyak menjadi bahan bakar gas (CNG). Penelitian ini mengkonversikan sistem bahan bakar bensin menjadi sistem bahan bakar natural gas.Penelitian ini menghasilkan Engine Control Module untuk mengontrol perbandingan jumlah bahan bakar dan udara pada sistem bahan bakar CNG. ECM ini dibuat di laboratorium mesin konversi energy Politeknik Negeri Malang. The ECM made in Laboratory of Mesin Konversi Energy of Politeknik Negeri Malang.
