TINJAUAN SINGKAT PENGARUH ISU LINGKUNGAN DALAM SASTRA DAN FILM BERBAHASA INGGRIS

Isu-isu lingkungan sudah menjadi tema dalam berbagai karya sastra dan film, baik fiksi maupun non-fiksi. Ketika keprihatinan akan krisis lingkungan dan perubahan iklim meningkat, jumlah sastra dan film yang membahas isu-isu ini juga berkembang. Beberapa dari sastra dan film lingkungan digunakan sebagai sarana pendidikan kesadaran lingkungan di seluruh dunia. Seiring dengan pertumbuhan ini, para peneliti juga menyelidiki pengaruh sastra dan film lingkungan pada kesadaran lingkungan, dan sejauh mana pengaruh itu bertahan. Makalah ini menyajikan tinjauan singkat dari sastra dan film lingkungan, serta penelitian-penelitian terhadap pengaruhnya. Diketahui bahwa kebanyakan peneliti setuju bahwa pengaruh sastra dan film lingkungan cukup signifikan di awalnya dan menurun setelah beberapa waktu. Penyebabnya mungkin dikarenakan kecenderungan sastra dan film lingkungan memakai sensasionalisme dan emosi negatif untuk menyampaikan pesannya, dan kurangnya solusi di dunia nyata dan kurangnya stimuli berkelanjutan untuk mempertahankan kesadaran lingkungan.References
