Abstract

The Mojodukuh Farmers Group is located in Majawangi Village, Majawarno District, Jombang Regency, in the southern part of Jombang Regency. The Mojodukuh Farmers Group began to follow and learn natural farming, especially rice, which is followed by aspects of environmental sustainability as a principle of implementing environmentally friendly agriculture. Farmers' dependence is quite high on mobile rice milling services. This is because the Mojodukuh Farmers Group does not yet have a rice milling machine. The lack of rice milling has resulted in farmers in Majawangi Village using manual rice mills, namely using traditional tools. However, the use of this traditional tool results in high rice destruction so that the yield achieved is low because this milling method is based on friction between seeds. The lack of adequate agricultural technology requires a design tool for the construction of Appropriate Technology for natural organic rice milling machines. The purpose of the study was to create a Design and Construction of Appropriate Technology for an Efficient Natural Rice Milling Machine and Optimize the Cost of Goods Sold for healthy rice products to generate maximum profit. Method Community service activities were carried out using brainstorming, lectures, discussions, demonstrations, assignments and mentoring methods. Lecture and brainstorming methods to explain how to design the Appropriate Technology for Natural Rice Milling Machines, this activity will improve attitudes, understanding and skills. Discussion, demonstration, assignment and mentoring methods are expected to produce the cost of goods sold (HPP) of healthy rice products to generate maximum profit. The results of community service activities 1. Improving the skills of members of the Mojodukuh Farmers Group with an effective and efficient appropriate technology system for rice milling agricultural machines. 2. Improving economic knowledge about calculating HPP in calculating the selling price of healthy rice products. It was concluded that the Mojodukuh Farmers Group, Majawangi Village, Majawarno District, Jombang Regency, had implemented appropriate technology on the design of rice milling machines by producing an efficient Appropriate Technology for the design of rice milling machines. And can improve economic knowledge about calculating HPP in calculating the selling price of healthy rice products weighing 5 kg.
