Penambahan Bio Additif (Minyak Kayu Putih) dalam Proses Elektrolisis Menggunakan Generator HHO Jenis Wet Cell terhadap Nyala Api Pembakaran Difusi

The use of renewable energy as alternative energy is one of the alternative innovations that can be used to offset the need for energy consumption which is increasing every year. Efforts are made, starting with saving the use of petroleum as fuel and making innovations in creating alternative fuels that are easy to obtain, easy to process, and can reduce human dependence on petroleum as the main energy source. This is the basis for innovation in creating alternative fuels by analyzing the flame profile in diffusion combustion which is carried out experimentally using a widecell type HHO generator, 1.3 liters of water, stainless steel plates, a total of 8 plates, salt catalysts and variations in the addition of eucalyptus oil bioadditives (15ml and 30 ml). The results obtained, namely the largest flame profile with a flame area of 60,509 mm² with a temperature of 158.8 ℃ and the lowest flame profile with an area of 22,159 mm² with a temperature of 150.4 ℃. It is concluded that the more the addition of bioadditives, the greater the flame profile produced in diffusion combustion.Downloads
