Kontrol dan Monitoring Level Secara Otomatis untuk Pemenuhan Sanitasi Air di Peternakan Ikan Cupang Sumde Betta Dusun Bago Kabupaten Tulungagung Jawa Timur

Fulfillment of water needs plays an important role in life in all sectors today. Water sanitation also has an important meaning for entrepreneurs in the field of fish seed cultivation. Where with good and adequate sanitation, it can improve the quality of the fish seeds themselves and indirectly can increase the purchasing power of the community which with the increase in purchasing power of the community will improve the economy of fish farmers. Dusun Bago is a village located in Tulungagung Regency. This village is one of the villages whose lives mostly depend on the cultivation of betta fish called Sumde Betta. However, in its development, this betta fish cultivation still has shortcomings in terms of water sanitation which is not yet optimal where all level controls in the tank as the main water supply are still done manually, not automatically. The impact of this manual sanitation system is that the community must monitor the water level manually and periodically. This method is considered ineffective considering that if the dry season arrives or there is damage to the tank which causes the water level to be at its lowest point, the community must immediately look for water reserves that are located kilometers from the cultivation site, even though the fish that live need continuous water circulation. Following up on this situation, we as the Community Service team took the initiative to support the development program of automatic tank level control and monitoring in the Sumde Beta betta fish farming. The development of this automatic level control system uses a microcontroller as a controller and an ultrasonic sensor as feedback and is equipped with continuous water monitoring, so that later in addition to the availability of water in the betta fish farming being met, savings in electricity and water can also be controlled optimally. With this automatic level control, savings in electricity costs can be realized.Downloads
