About the Journal

JOINTECS (Journal of Information Technology and Computer Science) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Informatics Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Science and Information Technology, Widya Gama University Malang (UWG). This journal aims to publish quality articles focusing on the latest developments in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Systems, and Computer Science. Topics covered include information technology applications, network technology developments, computer security, applied computer science, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), data mining, wireless technology, and other related fields. JOINTECS was first published in 2016.

Since 2018, JOINTECS has been published three times a year, in January, May, and September, with the print ISSN numbers p-ISSN 2541-3619 and the electronic ISSN numbers e-ISSN 2541-6448. The journal management process, from manuscript submission and review to editing and publication, is conducted through the Open Journal System (OJS).

Starting in 2025, JOINTECS will be published twice a year, in May and October, while maintaining rigorous scientific review standards and high publication quality.
