Open Access Policy and License

Journal of Socioeconomics and Development (JSeD) provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge (based on The Budapest Open Acces Initiative).  All research or review articles published in JSeD are fully open access which means that all content is freely available without asking prior permission from the publisher or author.

The work of JSeD journal is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC). We are continuously working with our author communities to comply with the license options

Authors/readers/third parties can copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, as well as remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose non commercially. They must provide appropriate credit (the name of the creator and attribution parties), a copyright notice, a license notice, a disclaimer notice, and a link to the material. 

They must also indicate if changes were made (if any) and retain an indication of previous modifications.  CC licenses prior to Version 4.0 also require them  to provide the title of the material if supplied, and may have other slight differences.  Although their new works must also acknowledge you and be non-commercial, they don’t have to license their derivative works on the same terms.  See Legal Code
